July Flew By

Well it's been a BUSY month. Family vacation and reunion, throwing a baby shower for a friend and getting everything ready before baby comes. I'm wiped out... bear with me, pictures are soon to come.

Ian's Last Day of Preschool

Well today was the last day of preschool for Ian and Katie. I can't believe they will be in Kindergarten in September. Where has the time gone... Mrs. Spencer sent home a student evaluation and said some nice comments: Ian is a delightful boy! I so enjoy him and watching him grow. I know he'll do well in school and life! Good job Ian, way to go!

Happy Birthday Luke

Our little Luke is 3 today. He has been so excited about his birthday. Luke is always on the go but will stop every now and then to give his Mom a big hug. He loves his big brother and sister and is excited to have a baby brother. He will be starting preschool in September and is working on potty training. (Which he is doing good at, unless he is to busy playing, then we have accidents.) He is full of life and full of energy. Everyone loves Luke because he is so easy to love. He loves to play outside and climbs on every thing, which then he jumps off of. Here is a couple of things I here from Luke all day, " Mom that was totally aweshome", " Mommy...I hurt myself", "Oh shorry Mom", and my favorite "Uhh, Ian did it". Happy Birthday Luke we love you.

Ian's Preschool Field Trip to the Beach

Ian's preschool went to the beach today. It's low tide and there is much to see and find. The kids had a great time exploring and the weather turned out to be perfect. Rain was in the forecast but the sun tried its hardest to shine through. We saw red crabs and hermit crabs, Star fish and sun stars, moon snails and more...

Ian's First T-Ball Game

Ian was so excited for his first T-Ball game. He is really starting to get the hang of it and now he wants to be a baseball player when he grows up.

Our Trip to Whidbey Island

Here are just a few pics that I would like to share from our trip to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island, WA. Grandma Helm was visiting with Abby Bake for the week and we took a trip up to the old fort and had a picnic lunch, along with the Kobers. It was interesting trying to find the place. Justin took us practically all over the island before we stopped to get directions from a couple old ladies. I'll be honest, I wasn't too confident following Justin on the direction of a couple old ladies, but hey, they got us there. It was a beautiful sunny day in WA, but the breeze had a bit of a chill. As you will see most were bundled up in the pictures, including the full head wrap on Jacob Kober. It was a great place for a picnic, with a big field for the kids to play, and a good time had by all. Thanks to the Bake family for loaning us Abby...she is a cutie with an attitude!
